The Second Minister Of Finace willing to give a lesson on the state's budgetary process to the Bukit Assek and Kota Sentosa State Assemblymen since the DAP members are ignorant on the whole process of the state's budgetary procedures. The Minister also upset over the Bukit Assek Assemblyman Wong's statement while debating the Supplementary Supply Bill 2008, Wong had accused the state government of having "CAMOUFLAGED" its intention of appropriating RM 900 Million which had been set aside for the Statutory Fund(Development FUnd Account). He is insulting the state government has something to hide, and he is jumping to clonclusion on what the fund is intended for.
The Finance Minister pointed out that any money taken out for development from State Statutory Fund would still need the approval of the august House. The august House will take action against Bukit Assek & Kota Sentosa Asseblymen if they didn't withdrawn the word "CAMOUFLAGED". Both the assemblyman are very irresponsible to the state as they have pre-judged the whole issue. Their move will only scare away investors from Sarawak, they also need to play their role in developing the state. Sarawak had been given a "CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH" for four consecutive years by the Auditor-General for it's "PRUDENT AND RESPONSIBLE" management.
